Questions couples actually ask
Do I have to pay before we even talk?
No. Booking a call is free — you only pay a retainer once you've decided to move forward, either during the call or any time after it.
Why would I pay the retainer before the call?
If you already know WedBro is the right fit, mention it when you book — we'll arrange a discounted rate for paying upfront, since we're not spending call time convincing you. Rather talk first? Just as easy — pay any time after the call instead.
How do I actually pay the retainer?
We arrange it directly with you — e-transfer or similar — once you're ready to lock in your date. There's no online payment yet, so nothing is charged automatically or without you confirming the amount first.
Is the retainer refundable?
No — once paid, it holds your date exclusively for you, which means turning other couples away for that date. If a payment method we use ever carries a fee, we'll tell you upfront, before you pay.
What's included in the price — are there hidden fees?
The price shown is the price, plus 13% HST (standard in Ontario). Add-ons (extra hours, a second shooter, travel outside the GTA) are listed on this page with their own prices — nothing is added without you knowing beforehand.
Do you travel outside the GTA?
Yes. Travel is free within 40km of our base. Beyond that, we charge the CRA per-km rate plus a drive-time fee, since a long drive is time we can't spend shooting another wedding. Overnight trips include accommodation at cost.
Do you provide the raw, unedited footage or photos?
No — we deliver fully edited, colour-graded photos and films. That editing is a core part of the craft, so raw files aren't included or sold separately.
How long until we get our photos and film?
Turnaround depends on your package and the season — we'll give you an exact estimate on the call, once we know what you're booking.
